Getting ready to workshop some concept-specific OEQs
If you've tackled a Learn Implement Share course before this one, you'll know that implementations are the #1 thing! Implementations are where the rubber hits the classroom road. Implementations are what create change with your students.
Granted, you may not be ready to implement the w/s of c-s OEQs just yet. But this little reminder is to give you a gentle nudge and say "get ready".

The DOs and DON'Ts when implementing the w/s of c-s OEQs
- Be sure to implement before the end - or near the end - of the course.
- Start implementing the w/s of c-s OEQs with your easiest classes asap. Use OEQs you feel comfortable with. (When you feel half-ready ... then you are ready!)
- There is a risk of forgetting to use the w/s of c-s OEQs for months - even after becoming a fan of the activity. This is because the w/s of c-s OEQs is a very different type of activity to everyday maths teaching. Therefore DO implement the w/s of c-s OEQs multiple times with multiple classes while you work through the course. (Trialling the w/s of c-s OEQs only once or twice is a waste of time because 'once or twice' is insufficient for the activity to become part of your regular practice.)
Happy implementing.
PS When you start implementing, feel free to skip ahead and write an early, short report (you can post more than one over time).
