Who leads the TEAM?
Usually the Department Head or other School Leader will adopt a natural leadership role, provide encouragement and help facilitate on-site discussion between team members.
How does the the face-to-face collaboration occur?
Sometimes the best discussion of course ideas occurs spontaneously. Participants who are part of a team are required to share brief, online summaries of their discussions. It is up to the teachers and/or Department Head to decide how to best facilitate those discussions. Richard will collaborate with you to assist with the approach you use.
Is the presenter part of the PD when delivered using a Team PD Program
Yes. Richard, the course creator, provides input into the course in the way of course announcements, online comments and replies to participants’ comments. Sometimes another facilitator will be involved.
Can we choose our own start date?
Yes, schools choose their own start and end dates in collaboration with Richard.
What if our progress is inhibited by unforeseen circumstances?
Participants are granted every opportunity to complete a course, regardless of the circumstances.
