Zilch. Nada. The class was off-side. Teaching them was no fun. I wanted to turn the situation around. I had a plan. I needed to rally some support and the prep took me hours. What surprised me was not that it worked - but how well it worked! |

Choice and student-centred activities go hand-in-hand.
As soon as we offer students choice we make the activity student-centred. Then we have student agency. Weaving choice into a unit of work is an extremely simple-yet-powerful thing to do. Yet many teachers are unaware of the power of offering students choice. |
